Happy Blogmas Day Eight!!!

I’ve been trying to mix up my post and not make it allll about Christmas or Winter! I know there are some blogs that do focus most of their blogmas on Winter/Christmas themed throughout the month of December but I figured it would be less stressful for me to just be able to mix it up some! Lucky for you today I’m doing a seasonal posts! I’m going to share a few of my favorite candle scents for Yankee Candle/Woodwick.

I was going to try to section this off by brand but I realized that there are similar smells in each category… So I was trying to think of the best way to do this.. I’m going to start with the most obvious smell that I try to put off in my home which is the one that has a Christmas Tree-like smell. We have a fake tree in our home.. Boo, I know. I love the smell and the realness(?) of a real tree but my finace and I both agreed that it would be easier to get a fake one as far as clean up goes and not have to worry about burning the house down with the lights, etc. etc. But I still really love the smell of it. Literally the only time I like the pine smell, otherwise it gives me a headache.. It still gives me a headache but its more worth it. So with Yankee Candle the smell “Balsam and Cedar” with is described as balsam, aromatic cedar wood and juniper berry blend together in a fresh forest scent. It’s stronnng, we even have gotten the concentrated room sprays and those are even stronger. As far as Woodwick goes which I believe is owned by Yankee Candle? Not sure though but they have this one scent called Frasier Fir which can be described a fragrance that truly captures the essence of fresh-cut fir on a crisp winter morning. I love Wookwick because of the crackle sound of the wood wick as it burns and the smells are always really strong. 

The Woodwick Warehouse near where I live aways has a crazy sale right before Christmas (maybe semi-annually) time where you get a box of candles/wax warmer cubes of your choice for $25. Limit to one box per customer but I once fit 26 items in my box for $25?? It felt like a steal to me! They had a great variety too! Only thing is you didn’t get tops for them but that wasn’t a deal breaker for me but I was able to give some of those for Christmas presents last year so it was nice!

I also love delicious smells like Red Apple Wreath (YC), Apple Cider(YC),Sparkling Cinnamon(YC), Cinnamon Buttercream(WW) and Cinnamon Chi (WW). I’m a seasonal scent person for sure. I feel like my scent desires change with the seasons because I’m not a big cinnamon person either except during the holidays. Oooo, I also can’t forget about Christmas cookie(YC)

I also really like what I consider “warm” scents like Fireside(WW) and Candlelit Cabin (YC) during this time of the year!
