Ingredients:
1 Stick of Unsalted Butter
1 1/2 Cups of Sugar
2 Cups of All Purpose Flour
1 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Kosher Salt
1 cup Whole Milk
1 Tbsp Vanilla Extract
1 (29 oz) Can of Sliced Peaches in Juice
1 tsp gr. Nutmeg
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Butter 9×13 dish or two 8×8 and set aside
- Place butter in microwavable bowl and melt; add 1 cup of sugar, flour, and baking powder. Then whisk until combined.
- Pour into baking dish and spoon peaches over evenly-Reserve the juice
- Add 1/2 cup of sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg to the juice and whisk it
- Pour over peaches
- bake 55-60 minutes
- Serve with ice cream!
