My Most Used Go-To’s

Wear and Tear

Talking about wear and tear of products. These product you’re about to see has been through it! You can tell that I’ve reached pan on some of these but these are my current favorites-not that I really venture out much. I do use other product but for the most part these are my ride or dies. My primer might change. My eye shadow pallete changes day-to-day but for the most part these are the products I use mainly because they’re the products I have mastered when it comes to blending and pigment.

Eyes

Morphe 350 Palete

I love this eye shadow palette for the main reason that it involves a lot of neutral colors with a little bit of the reds and pinks so it suits my look perfectly. I”m also really fond of the fact that it involves shimmer and mattes which makes me think of it as a very universal palette. Even if I’m using a different palette I’ll more than likely still dip into this for a base or transition color.

Face

Anastasia Beverly Hills Cream Contour Kit.

You can tell that I have hit pan on some of my most used colors. I use the light creams for under my eye or as a concealer. It has a wonder consistency. I don’t use the contour part of the kit as much because I’m afraid of now being able to blend it properly and making my face look muddy. There has been times where I tried it and it looked smooth and beautiful but I typically just use a powder contour because I feel like I have more control over it.

Kat Von D Shade + Light Contour Kit

I love a good contour kit as you can tell. This is what I normally use for my contour and it works amazing. I love the packaging of the product and how sturdy and deep the pans feel. I believe the shade shadow play fits the shade of my skin perfectly. I also love the the fact that it comes with a mirror. I really love all of the shades in the palette and how well it carves out my skin.

Maybelline Fit Me Foundation

I love this Maybelline Fit Me Foundation. It has such great coverage. It gives my skin such a nice, matte finish. I bought the shade porcelline and although it’s a little light for my skin it can be easy warmed up. I love the match it with a mattifying primer such as the NYX Soft Focus Tinted Primer. I can’t express how much this foundation just works for me and gives me the coverage I’ve been looking for.

Covergirl Loose Powder / Real Techniques Beauty Sponge

This loose powder is in shade- Light but it’s still a little dark on my skin which works really good with my “too light” Fit Me foundation, the combination of the two matches my skin perfectly. Although because of the matte foundation it is best to you the applicator that came with it verses a brush.

I decided to just add the Teal Techniques sponge to this snip-it because I didn’t have much to say about it. It helps blends my make up beautifully. This one is so used that it has a hole in it. Although now that I think about it I don’t know how the hole got there but it is extremely important to switch out your sponges when you notice a hole because holes can cause bacteria to build up inside it and I know for a fact no one wants that.

I was going to add my mascara into the mix but I honestly mix up mascaras so much I don’t even know which one I would pick, I typically just use what I have at the moment. So that pretty much does it for today’s post.

What are some of your R.O.D products? Have you used any of the products? Let me know in the comments!

with love,
