Divine Llama Vineyards in East Bend, North Carolina, offers a delightful blend of scenic beauty, award-winning wines, and unique experiences like llama trekking and farm visits. Here’s a glimpse into what you can expect during your visit:

🍷 Wine Tasting Experience

For just $10, guests can sample seven wines—three whites, three reds, and a rosé while enjoying complimentary crackers and chocolate as palate cleansers. The tasting includes a souvenir wine glass to take home. Notable wines include the crisp Chardonel and the Merlina, a red blend named after one of the llamas. After the tasting, visitors can purchase a glass or bottle of their favorite wine and relax on the patio or picnic tables overlooking the vineyards.

🦙 Llama Trekking Adventure

Embark on a two-mile trek through rolling hills and along Miller Creek, accompanied by a friendly llama. The trek includes a water break by the creek, perfect for photos and feeding treats to your llama companion. Treks are available on Saturdays and Sundays, with some Friday dates in the spring and fall, and last between 1¾ to 2¼ hours. The cost is $50 per person, and reservations are required.

🦙 Farm Visits

Visitors can stroll through the farm to observe llamas, miniature horses, and donkeys. The farm is the largest llama farm in the Southeast, covering 91 acres with vineyards and pastures. A $5 fee grants access to the farm, where guests can enjoy the animals and scenic views.

🏞️ Scenic Setting

The vineyard is nestled in the Yadkin Valley, offering picturesque views of Pilot Mountain. The rustic farmhouse tasting room and outdoor seating areas provide a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy wine and conversation. The property also features picnic tables under trees, perfect for a leisurely afternoon.

🍽️ Food Options

While Divine Llama Vineyards doesn’t have an on-site kitchen, they often host food trucks on weekends. Guests are also welcome to bring their own food to enjoy during their visit. The relaxed atmosphere encourages picnicking and enjoying the natural surroundings.
