Happy Blogmas Day 14! Today I’m taking a day trip to see one of my best friends from high school!

My friend Abbey is hilarious and spunky and all around wonderful. She’s Graduating for ECU December 13th. Due to my work schedule I couldn’t make it but I planned on driving down for the day to attend her graduation cookout and visit her! She still has some more schooling to go to be a Marriage and Family Counselor but this is a huge milestone in her life and I am so happy that I’ll get to be down there to help celebrate it!

It’s a three hour drive there and back and you might think I’m crazy to try to do it in one day but my work life sucks and I wasn’t able to allow it to be a whole weekend but next time I certainly plan on making a weekend trip out of it!

I just want to take a moment of my time to congratulate my friend of such a wonderful achievement in life! I knew she was destined to achieve great things. She’s so motivated and goal-driven. She knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to go after it which is one of the things I admire most about her. She works hard at her job while still maintaining top grades and she makes it look so easy. From getting promotions, to acing test and now being able to walk across that stage and move on to her next adventure. I’m tearing up at how proud I am of her. She has always been such a wonderful and caring friend, putting others before herself, she really deserves this and the rest of the fantastic things life has in store for her.
