I cannot believe Christmas is 12 days away!
🎶”On the twelfth day of Christmas my true love gave to me” 🎶
These past couple of weeks we have been moving and settling into our new home. I was a little worried at first with it being so close to the holidays but we are finally getting settled and I’m not overshopping as much as I thought I would!
In the spirit of shopping I wanted to highlight some small artist to shop from that I absolutely love! Hopefully, it isn’t too close to the holidays that it’s too late to order from them!
I hoping to get this post out sooner so that you could order in time. Amazon is usually my go-to when it comes to last minute Christmas Shopping 🛍 But I wanted to focus more on shopping small this year.
I wanted to highlight artists this year because I personally feel like there is something special about a homemade gift. Even if it’s someone else making them at home! I love shopping from places like Esty and just seeing the creativity people have!
1. PinkyCreates • Polymer Clay Jewelry
I absolutely love this girls work! I’ve bought earrings from her before and they are wonderful quality! This would make a sweet gift for a friend or a sister! Forever amazed with her work!
2. Silverlinings Art & Design • Digital Prints &
Aly is so so talented when it comes to not only digital art but also creative, textured pieces! She does custom commissions as well as inspired art that she creates in her free time. I love her style and how each piece tells a story.
3. TL Creations • Resin Artist
Taylor is super talented creating things from tumbler cups to badge reels! Perfect gifts for coworkers, friends & family members! Always so surprised with how wonderful her work turns out! She always goes above and beyond for her customers.
4. Luna Bell Threads • Crochet Artist & Tie Dye
I’m obsessed with crochet work. Luna Bell does a beautiful job crafting the sweetest items. From stocking stuffers such as flower coasters & scrunchies to beanies and bags! All of her work is so cute.
I really enjoy watching these artist create such beautiful pieces. I love the new trend of sharing the process via video. It really adds perspective to the time and effort it takes to hand craft these items.
Do you enjoy handcrafted items? What do you enjoy most about them?
I enjoy the sense of individualism when it comes to handmade pieces of art! There’s something so personal about it to me.
Do you like handmade items or would you rather get something standard as a gift? Let me know in the comments below!
